Hidden Gems (findmyhiddengems.com) is operated by Waris Mazhar, an individual based in Ohio, United States. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What Hidden Gems is

A free guide to little-known places in Columbus, Ohio. We suggest places, and you can save them, check in when you visit, and rate them.

Place information can be wrong

We work to keep information current, but places close, move and change their hours. A Hidden Gem Score is our estimate, not a guarantee. Check with the place before you travel, and use your own judgment about whether a place is right and safe for you. We are not responsible for your experience at any place listed, and a listing is not an endorsement by or of that business.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your account.

What we ask of you

• Check in only when you are actually at the place.
• Rate and answer honestly, from your own experience.
• Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, or that reveals someone else’s private information.
• Do not use automated tools to copy the app’s content or to interfere with it.
• Do not create ratings or check-ins to promote or harm a business.

We may remove content, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules.

What you share with us

Your ratings, answers and suggestions remain yours. By submitting them you allow us to use them to run and improve Hidden Gems, including showing combined results such as an average rating. Private notes stay private. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Our content

The Hidden Gems name, design, scores and written descriptions belong to us. Some place details come from Google and from OpenStreetMap contributors and remain theirs. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use.

No warranty

The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will always be available, accurate or free of errors.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, or from visiting any place found through it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. When we change the terms we will update the date at the top. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States.
